Getting Chyrisa's Birthday Present on its way!

Chyrisa, our daughter is celebrating her birthday on February 5th and her gifts are on their way. Gordon and I decorated the box and bought a bunch of birthday stamps on the package and away it went.

We are here - here we are!

This is where our Boomer Club parked out. We are in the desert having fun. It is all over now. We are staying a few days longer then on to Parker, Arizona for a week before Winter Blast.

A cruise to Cabo St. Lucas, Mexico

$ 199 per person, it comes to $235 with everything. The cruise is for February 4th to the 8th leaving from San Diego. I had to pay $300 today and pay the balance by Dec. 6th which is $139.92. We can cancel up to the date of December 6th with a full refund.

The lady we are working with is named Rochell, her phone number is 800-338-4962 ext. 140. We are under the name of Robnik which is my friend. If you do decide to book it make sure you tell them it is your birthday too and because we are having a party on \Feb. 5th. We are going to have the dining hour at 6:15pm and we 8 or 9 couples will all be together. It would be great if Bobby could join us - maybe an early grad present. The ship is Carnaval. The trip is 4 nights. I HOPE YOU CAN COME. IT WOULD BE AWESOME.

January 21, 2007 still in Quartzsite, Arizona

We are having a good time here. Lots of old and new friends. Several of us have been shopping everyday then beading every afternoon then games or a quiet night by ourselves.

Tonight we had a birthday dinner for several January birthday people. Gordon was one of them. We had a great dinner and lots of fun.

We drove from Mesa, AZ to Quartszite today. A nice drive. This is Bob and Gordon checking out some of the stuff in Quartzsite. Our boomerang offically starts tomorrow. We will be here for at least 10 days. 

We got to spend the weekend at Lynne and Alan's house. Her brother Myron and daughter Cheyenne came for a quick visit. (Gordon, me, Myron, Cheyenne, Lynne, Alan and Joe) Thanks for a wonderful visit. We love you.

Ok family no more waiting to see Paul!!! He is cute, confident and real sweet. We had a wonderful afternoon together. Paul lives in Scottsdale, AZ and would love to hear from other family members. 480-202-6332. 

Sunday

We are at my sister in laws house in Mesa, AZ., we plan to be here for a few days. Then on to Quartzsite for the annual get together with the Boomers. (RV club)

Gordon was real sick for one day. We thought it was the flu but he got over it in one day. So today is real special we are going to see our nephew, Paul, that we have not seen for about 10 years. He is a chef at 88 AZ Bar. Will send pictures in a few hours.

Gordon is doing good not sick anymore. But we both still have a nagging cough.

January 8th, 2006!! Our Granson Mike's 16th birthday!

Here is Mike!!! 16 years old. Tonight we have a small family party to help celebrate his birthday. Mike is a really nice kid. We are thrilled that we can share this time with him and his family. Mike has 3 adorable sisters.

While the boys were working on the solar panels, we girls, me, Debbie, Heidi and Nancy had lunch at a wonderful outdoor cafe in Yuma. Great place, Debbie. 

A nice cozy day and night at Starlight Solar where the owner Larry Crutcher fixed some minor problems fixed. After that we spent the rest of the evening playing games and eating. Debbie thanks for the beautiful card. We love you. (The Youngs rig on the right) 

Today is our grandson Mikes Birthday!

Gordon and I are in Yuma, AZ - We are at Starlight Solar where our friend is helping us get our solar panels to run better.

We are on our way to Mike's birthday party but he does not know we are coming. I don't think he reads my blog. Pictures to follow.

After Mike's place we go to see my sister-in-law who lives in Mesa, AZ. then on to Quartzsite for our annual get together with the Boomers.

I thought I would show another picture that our friend Kit took by standing on a ladder so he could show us all having a fun time.

Gordon made a really nice poem for me and read it in front of everyone. I was so impressed, he really made my day. 

We look like we been drinking and we were, sparkling cider. Never been happier not drinking. We have a good time with no hangover and we remember what we said and did. Should have stopped drinking sooner.

I arrived in the custom I am use to. A party mode....you can see some beads flying through the air in the upper left corner. Kit took this picture. Pretty good, Kit.

Presents and presents I had a great day! Thanks to all our friends out here in the desert. 

Oh Gretchen what a gift of love. Spending all those hours picking up material and the task of sewing all that love into it. I will love and keep this wonder jacket forever. Thanks so much. 

Gordon decorated the whole place for me...what a wonderful surprise to be so loved and spoiled. I am 59 today!!! Thank you, Gordon. Party pictures to come later on. 

Did you know that I am a twin. I was born at midnight and my brother, Lance was born at 12:07 on January 3, 1948. Gosh we are getting old.  

More fireworks.

New Years Eve!

Barry Kessler bought fireworks for us on New Years Eve. It was awesome, thanks Barry and Jan.

Our friend Padriac got his 18 wheeler and 5th wheel stuck in the sand. About 15 or so fellow club members helped with the rescue and we got him out and saved him $600 for the tow truck. Good work...Boomer men....
