Cross Roads Mission in Yuma...

 Gordon and I along with other friends got to serve meals at the Crossroads Mission for the Thanksgiving Holiday...So glad to have had this opportunity and well do this again....

This second metal was for our Vietnam Vets who were not welcomed home the way they should have been....the medal says Welcome Home on the other side....This metal is for my twin who served in Vietnam...

Veteran's Day at the First Baptist Church in Yuma....

 This was a wonderful day when we went to the First Baptist Church for . the honoring of our Veteran's.
.Senator Dan Shooter was there and he was the first person I have heard that apologizing  for the two US Seals that were left behind. Not his job but it was appreciated.....
 Every branch of service was called up and given a commemorative  medal..Gordon got one from the Navy, and I got one for my twin who served in Vietnam...
 We were all served lunch and the ladies of Vets were given roses....
Very nice.....

Kayaking for the first time......

 Trish and Don took us kayaking for the first time.....Trish had all the equipment for us....it was great fun on a nice day....Trish says we don't have lots of control with what is going on in our country BUT we can be kind and share with our friends....

 Me, Gordon, Chuck, Dorothy, our dentist, Raul Haro and solar source and good friends Larry and Debbie of Starlite Solar....the only place to get your solar done....Larry and Debbie have done our solar panels for years....
