We are Laura and Gordon Bornkamp. We have been retired for 22 years and full time traveling for 21years...we are still traveling for many months but by car and motels....a big change but we love our life and where we live in Pahrump, Nevada at the Escapees Park.
It was so hot here that I could hardly stand it....glad we got a two day ticket so we could go early and leave early...in my opinion Silver Dollar City was a disappointment after spending 6 weeks at Dollywood....we were there for the Southern Gospel music and it was ok but nothing like Dollywood....I would not recommend Silver Dollar City and would NOT go back there...

A day trip got us here....the road was scarey....but fun....leaving Colorada tomorrow and headed for Kansas City tomorrow.....good times in Colorada.

We saw this race by accident and it was a good race....lots of bikes and riders....they raced for 30 miles...and gave us some free stuff too....
