Winchester Bay, Oregon
We arrived early to the crabfest and got our favorite spot.
A few of our favorite friends are here.
Gordon is up early going on a boat and checking crab nets a few times a day. We limited out the first 8 AM run yesterday.
Last night we had three couples over for a light dinner which was a crab melt and a salad. Candles everywhere made the evening perfect. It was our first party in Maggie. Although we have had a lot of company for dinners already. Thanks to our friends who help make it so nice, Bea, Ken, Diane, Frank, Ullie and Marshall.
We are having the best time. I love of friends and all the special time we spend together.

Sunday, last day of Country Coach Rally
Oh my gosh, I could not believe it another busy and fun filled day.
Today started with breakfast with Gospel music, it was nice and pleasant. Later we went to seminars then we had the the CC team put on our ladder. Gordon finally got his ladder installed. CC installed it free.
Tonight the dinner and entertainment was sooooo good. Dinner was steak and crab cakes.
I knew Elvis was still alive and well and glad he along with Tom Jones and Buddy Holly could make it to the dance. I will be putting some pictures on tomorrow. I am to tired from all the fun we have been having.

Friday, September 16th
Day 2 was on Thursday and it was a wonderful day with lots of new stuff being installed on th e coach. Dinner was very disappointing. The table looked great and the food did too, BUT it was not. The ribs were so tough I did not eat them, the only good food on the plate was the corn. After giving them and A+ for the first dinner I was surprised and I would give them a D for showing up. The western music was good but let's face it we are old timers and we want old time music. I did not know many of the songs the western,Texas band did. They were good but again nothing like the night before.
I am still happy to be here.
Today CC is taking the ladies out to lunchs (free)
The boys are going to learn Texas Holdem and have a steak lunch. Gordon is going and I am too.
Bye for now

The Country Coach Rally Day 1
Wow, what an organized group of folks. No waiting to get in the fairgrounds. Welcome committee was great.
We are here at Eugene, OR. at the Country Coach rally for the next four days.
Last night we danced our butts off. It was a beach party theme. I wore my Hawiian stuff and it was great. When they did some Tom Jones, I stripped the bathing suit top off and throw it to the Tom Jones singer. Everyone loved it and so did I. It was great to have so much fun and to do it sober. I did not have to worrry about what I said or did. Of course the best part was NO Hang Over...
Country Coach is doing so much for us.
We are having our Silverleaf software updated for a great price.
The generator will be serviced.
A new ladder put on. One place we went to wanted $200 just to install the ladder. CC is putting the ladder on for FREE!!!!
The dinner was just fabulous last night. No complaints so far
JUST HAPPY CAMPERS

Eugene, Oregon - September 10, 2005
Gordon and I arrived in Eugene safe and sound.
We drove all around today to check our new home for the next week or so. On Monday we go to get our Corian fixed. Then we attend the Country Coach rally from the 14th to the 18th. We hope to attend lots of classes to learn more about our rig. We will also be attending the Crabfest in Winchester Bay hosted by our dear friends Mary and Elaine. I am so excited to see them again and get our freezer filled up with crab. It was so much fun last year.
We are paying $3.09 for diesle and remember we get about 7 .4 miles per gallon. We are still going to travel Gordon says he is not getting any younger. He is so good.
My phone is from Louisiana and therefore you may have trouble getting me. I am able to call out but we have been out of cell phone service for several weeks. We do have service now for the next couple of weeks and then who knows.
