An off the diet pizza. It was so good. It is dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. We are in Ely, NV leaving here this morning for Mesquite, NV to pick up our motorhome then on to Las Vegas, NV for a day or two then to Pahrump, NV for a week or so.

Well we got off to a good start when Charlie, (Chyrisa's) husband got us off safely to where Gretchen and Frank had their 5th wheel ready to go. We had a good and safe trip to Ely.

We had a good dinner and fun gambling. The bedrooms were nice and the beds were very comfy. We played cards in the G&F room. I won!!!!

I hated leaving Chyrisa I know her grieving has just really started. My daughter is strong and mature. She will make it through this horrible time but it will be so hard. I will fly back in a second if she needs us. Her son and husband are so happy she is home. Please pray for their family.

Chyrisa made a nice lunch for Gretchen, Frank, me and Gordon. Tomorrow we travel to Ely with Gretchen and Frank we will be staying over night at the Hotel Nevada. I am so excited. We will have dinner there with maybe some gambling in the casino. Pictures to follow.

Check this out. We were suppose to fly to Las Vegas from Nampa, Idaho tomorrow morning BUT our friends Gretchen and Frank are in Boise, ID., so we hitched a ride with them. So we cancelled our flights and will be on our way with them on Wednesday. UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!

This is Corny Dog, he and Brownie are getting along really well. Chyrisa loves her dogs and cats. They make each other happy. 

This is Brownie Dog, he use to live in Mesquite, NV but Chyrisa loved him so much she bought him and he now lives in Idaho.

A wonderful Thanksgiving in Nampa, Idaho at Chyrisa's, Charlie and Bobby's house. We got into Nampa at 10PM and the next morning Chyrisa jumped out of bed and insisted on a traditional Thanksgiving. It was so great. We are flying to Las Vegas on Tuesday and will be in Mesquite, NV to pick up our motorhome and go to Pahrump, NV to our RV lot for a week or so before moving on down the road. We are looking forward to Christmas in the desert with our Boomer friends. 

Mark owned a motorhome. his cousins, Rhea and Johnnie own it now. Mark would have loved for them to have this. 

AN UNEXPECTED TRIP WITH THE WORST POSSIBLE TIMING!!!

Well, it is 5am and we are off to Idaho. This is an unexpected trip from Mesquite, NV to Nampa, Idaho. Our daughter has to get back home. She has two cars that must be transported home and that is where we come in. None of us thought we would be on the road on Thanksgiving weekend. She has been here for 3 weeks and her other son, Robert needs her home and so does husband Charlie. Chyrisa did a great job in a short time. There is more she has to take care of but she can do the rest from home.

We will be flying back to Las Vegas and then hopefully heading for Pahrump, NV for a stay at our lot.

Chyrisa, Gordon and I are hanging out in Scenic, AZ., it is a very small place 4 miles from Mesquite, NV. lots of people don't even know about this area. But Chyrisa has a cousin who owns an RV/trailer park in Scenic so we decided to give them our business instead of someone we don't know. We moved here yesterday and it is really nice here. The trees are turning color and we have a large site here. 50 amp service. Oh yeah the dishwasher and washer drying are running all the time.
Chyrisa has been away from her home in Idaho for almost three weeks. She is waiting for the personal representive papers before she can proceed with any other of Mark's business. She is doing well with boughts of disbelief. I am so glad we are all together holding each other up. It seems that my sister, Lana may come back (also from Idaho) to spend Thanksgiving with us. I hope so she is so entertaining (although she is only trying to talk 50% of the time) I am so glad we have mended our fences and have regained our long last relationship, it feels so good.

Friday Night

We, Chyrisa, Gordon and myself are still in Mesquite, NV. This is where my daughter has so much moral support. She use to live here and has many friends. We are boondocking at a casino. We will be here another week or two. All depending on the legal work still not done. Chyrisa must become a Personal Representive ( we think it is the same as a executor - but that is what is called in Utah). Chyrisa will have all the papers she needs to proceed. She is doing a good job and it is all so complicated. It helps to have a sister who has lots of knowledge and is helping us. Thanks, Lana!

I KNOW YOU MAY FIND THIS HARD TO BELIEVE BUT CHYRISA FOUND A LAWYER THAT HELPED US OUT FOR "FREE".

After our job here is done we think we will head to Pahrump, NV where our RV lot is. We do not know how long we will stay. We are not making any plans for now.

The beautiful flowers we sent for our grandsons memorial. The day was good. So many friends, at least 150 people and it was nice that lots of people step out of their comfort zones and spoke some kind memories of my grandson. He was loved by so many, I wish I had known him better.

My daughter did a fine job of capturing her son's essence. I was so moved by her eulogy. She made me proud. She loved her son so and he loved her so much too. 

Grateful for a day of loving of remembering my Grandson!

The memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 2:00pm at the Mesquite city park.
