A short visit....

This is Lynne and Alan they got to visit us for a few days.
Very enjoyable visit.

Mr. Perez was honored....

(Juanita, daughter-in-law to Mr. Perez - Gene is the son, Mr. Perez, 91 years old, Fatima is the daughter and Gregg is Fatima's husband)
This was a huge honor for a humble man who did a lot of the Mexican people. It was an honor to be there.

An unfinished floor finished!

You will have to click on the pictures to see what Gordon did. This room was never finished off. We could not
match the wood so we bought would and stained it. All finished and looks real nice.

New paint and lots of scrubbing..

I will be glad when I never have to think about painting and cleaning a house for a long time.

Painting is what I did yesterday.

I did lots of painting yesterday....my knees are killing me.... Gordon too.
I painted the back porch and the floor in the laundry room and the front
wall. I take some other pictures today.

Gordie is so GOOD!

I could not imagaine what we could do with this unfinished plywood floor. A couple of trips to Lowe's we found the
closest color that matched the original hardwood floor. I love it.

Not an everyday sight in our SF.

This is a small motorhome but not a usual sight on our block....

Easter with our dear friends!

A little late with this picture but Juanita and Gene took us
out to a wonderful brunch after Easter sunday services.
I love their church it is called Jubilee in San Jose.

Gordon did lots of work on this floor....sanding and varnishing I think he is done with this one....

We are going on wonderful hour long walks near our house....
I saw these stairs and thought thank goodness we don't have that many.

Gordon is redoing the floor in the second floor bedroom...

I did the backyard yesterday, spent most of the day weeding and mowing the lawn.
