Miriam, my daughter-in-law was skyping me and I thought it was so neat that Baby Ella is right next to her father who was on my wallpaper on my computer.
We are Laura and Gordon Bornkamp. We have been retired for 22 years and full time traveling for 21years...we are still traveling for many months but by car and motels....a big change but we love our life and where we live in Pahrump, Nevada at the Escapees Park.

I am 11 days old now!!!!
This baby Ella is a dream child.....she is so good....she was the main attraction today....we all took turns holding her and taking pictures.....she is such a welcome addition to our family.11 days later!!!!!
Here is Miriam back in her size 0 or 1 jeans 11 days after giving birth to Ella.......she looks so good we all cannot believe she looks so good.
Honoring some of our family father's!
Our family got together to honor the father's in our family....we started with Gordon and Kevin and ended with Brent. This is Brent's first father's day....it was so fun to all be together to celebrate the awesome fathers in our lives.HAPPY FATHER'S DAY....

First cousin who graduated together.....Shelley is our is daughter-in-law, Amar's, sister's daughter.....and Dylan is our grandson...these two scored so many honors - we are so proud of them.
This was a family graduation and Father's Day celebration....very fun!!!
The Alexander's Visit!
We met Elaine and Mel about 8 years ago in Pass christian, Mississippi. We have visited them a few times in Washington State where they live but now they are here in California....We are spending several days together. Tomorrow is a big sight seeing day...Friday, June 18, 2010

I am sure everyone knows about the Amazon Kindle!!!
It has a wireless connection so you can order books, newspapers and magazines
in a second. I have ordered and am reading Sarah Palin's book...I really love
the fact that you can sample a book before you buy...they send you a couple of
chapters for free and you can buy or not. You can save your books in archives.
It is about 8 inches long and 4 inch width...light weight and you can read in the
bright sun light.
I LOVE MY NEW TOY!!!
Oh I forgot one of the best feature's, if you don't know what a word means you put the
cursor in front of that word and the definition appears.
