We are leaving here on Monday, March 13th and heading for Corpus Christie and Rockport area in Texas for a few days before heading to Abbyville in Louisiana. We have a reservation for the weekend before heading to Florida.

We had a wonderful visit here but are looking forward to more travelling, seeing friends/family and sight seeing.

Progresso, Mexico

A fun and exciting day with Gene and Martha. We shopped, Gene got new glasses, Gene saw the dentist last week. He did real well with getting the price he wanted to pay. We bought medicine for our friends in Florida, then had a great lunch which Martha and Gene treated us.
Aren't they so cute.

We are awaiting there arrival to our campground. They will stay with us until March 11th. We are also waiting for Cathy and John our friends from San Francisco. They should be here in a week with their brand new 40 foot, 4 slide Kounty Star. I cannot wait to see them again.

Another day of fishing!

Gordon caught this fish while we were visiting friends who are parked right next to a canal.

Us girls were beading and the boys were fishing.

Another day of shopping!!!

I love my new sequence jacket from ropa.

Gordon shared his 66th birthday with Gib who 82 years young.

Here is a dress I bought for my neice. All sequence.
This is how the ROPA- clothes comes in. Then they are brought to the huge warehouse and you just jump on top and start digging for your size.
FUN, FUN FUN!

This is ROPA. New and used clothes for sale. The best part is it cost 20 cents a pound. I have totally changed my whole wardrobe for a few dollars. OH HAPPY DAYS!

Still in Alamo!

We are still here and having the best time.
Shopping, eating, partying and playing games, what fun!

Martha and Gene Merryman and Betsy and John Crawford are here also. Tonight we are playing games at Martha and Genes.

I am always getting so tired. I can hardly keep up with the 70 year olds here. That is not a joke.

Alamo, Texas

We have been in Alamo for more than one week now. We are very happy here. We are with 8 other couples that we met last summer in Silverton and Montrose, Colorado. We go to dances every Wednesday and Fridays. We go shopping once a week in a huge warehouse with mountains of clothes. The best part of this shopping trip is that it cost $.20 a pound. Oh yeah I have a new wardrobe. I will send some pictures when I can.

Again I cannot upload pictures!

I do not know for sure what the problem is but I cannot add pictures. I have been trying for weeks. The picture of Mike was posted by our son in Davis, CA.

We has a really good visit with Mike and his family. We were in Casa Grande, AZ.

We left after being there for 4 days then on to Las Cruces, New Mexico to visit friends there. Two days there then on to Van Horn, Texas waiting for our mail. We think we will be in Alamo, TX in a day or two and we plan to spend several months there with our new friends we met in Colorado this summer. The weather is warm, perfect for driving. Maggie, (our rig) is doing just fine. A nice smooth ride and we are getting 8 to 9 miles per gallon. We are happy.
