THIS WAS A REALLY FUN FAMILY NIGHT AND SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR GORDON.....his birthday is not until Jan. 25th.

What a fun, fun day & evening.

We had a wonderful dinner. Miriam and Brent made Paella. It was so good. Jeannine made the best meat balls in world and Carol made the best spaghetti
sauce and Monte made the very best salad dressing ever. Juanita brought a raspberry cheese cake that was sooo good. Amar and Kevin brought a BIRTHDAY cake for Gordon. This was a big surprise because we had a family dinner just to get all our family together to meet Carol, Monte and Jeannine and meanwhile we thought we should have a surprise birthday party for Gordon. He was so surprised and that made it more fun than ever...

Family!!!

What a great time we had with our dinner with our family. I just love
the way all the ladies help me out so much. Setting tables, making and
serving dinner. It is a piece of cake when everyone chips in.

True Love Documentary!

This is Ted and Greg who are independent film makers. They are
doing a documentary called, "True Love". They came today and film
Gordon and I for the documentary they are doing. We told them that
Gordon's cousins Carol and Monte have been for 52 years and we thought
they would have some real input in the documentary and Ted and Greg we
so happy to added them on board. Now I hope we don't cut out. It should
be out some time this year.

China Town!!!

We never get tired of going to China Town. Monte took us out to lunch. Food
was good and recommended by a friend. We love Sam Wo but it was closed.

We went to show our cousins and sister the west coast. They are from

We picked up Gordon's sister and cousins today. They will be visiting
for one week. (not long enough) Gordon took us sight seeing today and
when we got home my sister Lana, had dinner ready for the second day
in a row. I love our visitors.

Another birthday party!!!

Gail and Bob had a wonderful gumbo/pasta birthday dinner for me and Gordon. The cake was so cute and really, really good!!
And the present was like something I have never seen before. It is like a vase for voltage candles BUT it is made of bees wax. They
got this gift for me months ago in South Carolina....
Gail who is a wonderful singer made up a song for me and sang it to me.
I am so blessed with wonderful friends. Thank you Gail & Bob!!!

More birthday presents???

Dinner and Dancing!!!

I am so happy....I had one of the best days EVER!!! Dinner at Olive Garden with Juanita, Gene, John, me, Cathy and Gordon!!!!
We danced the night away. THANK YOU MY FRIENDS..... for a great evening.

IT'S MY 60th BIRTHDAY!!!!

My birthday was very special. I have celebrated my birthday for the many years in the desert with our Boomer RV friends. But this year was different, we are in our house and not able to be in Yuma. But I got to spend my birthday with Boomers Cathy & John and good friends Juanita and Gene. I had an awesome time. First dinner at the Olive Garden and then dancing at the Saddle Rack. What fun I had.

We were not prepared!!!

We went to pick up Maggie, (our rv) from the consignment lot when we got hold of rv friends Cathy & John. Cathy said," come stay at the Elks next to us for a few days and we will celebrate your birthday with you. " We and mean I said AWESOME!!! But of course we did not have a thing in our rig. So Cathy put together a basket for us. Coffee, mugs, thermos, coffee maker, sugar, milk, tooth brushes, tooth paste and I don't know what else. Good friends seem to always come through. THANKS!!!

Guess who won???

We love being with our grandson Junior. He is a good Sequence player. He kept beating us.
We got him some card magic tricks and he is quite good.
Grandpa Gordon and Junior learned a trick a day. Junior is such a good boy.
