Oh Shucks!!!!

What a wonderful evening after the parades today...
We headed for Shucks for oyster, seafood dinner and a
Virgin Bloody Mary - excellent....

This is an old time tradition - the people in the middle picture are
chasing chickens for their gumbo - it is called the chicken run....all
these men have had way to much to drink and falling and running
through the mud was just part of it...

Bayou Segnette State Park...

I just wanted to show the huge area each campsite had...
lots of room and a wonderful park... much better than
Fontainebleau state park which we stayed at last time.
FREE LAUNDRY HERE....UNBELIEVABLE!!

A 2 hour wait for the ferry!!!

After the city put on a parade like that how come they
could not figure out how to get us home....
This was HORRIBLE very fortunate we were all in
a happy mode.

This was the best parade ever.....all the big floats were together...
I don't think that has ever happened....
It was hard to see but we did fine...it was very cold.

5pm food break.....

Friends in NO from SF area!

This is Laura, Tim and girlfriend who got to meet us in New Orleans (NO)
Tim and his girlfriend play will be playing with their marching band on
Wednesday and Friday....They are from Concord, CA
