Bike Racing with Brent....

Brent is doing better every time we see him ride....he came in 7th here....

Two weeks ago he came in 2nd so awesome....will get the pic in December and will post....

Thank you for all the men in my life that have served our country...
I will start with my Dad, Louis Martinez, (Air Force) my Uncle Alex (my mother's brother-Air force)
my husband, Gordon, (Navy) Kevin (on the left) in the Navy (still in reserves) Garrick, ( Gordon's youngest son Air Force) and my son Wil in the Army....Tony Malta (my sister Lola's husband) also a Navy man...My twin brother, Lance Martinez, Marines. My grandson, Mike Kosiba, Army going to Afghanistan in December...


We went to TGIF for dinner where our two Veterans had a free dinner....

Kevin went to his son's school and did a wonderful power point presentation about
serving in the military and what it means to him and to us...

This Dressmaker sewing machine was given to me by
my niece.....after years of sitting around in their garage, my
Gordie spent many hours cleaning.....

It works great and I even finished my patriotic jacket....

Just in time for Veteran's Day.....

Rich is the best cook EVER.....

Gosh what a treat it was to have Rich cook....his ribs were better than any we have had before.....his breakfastes were great he got my special order right and remember the next day too.....THANKS RICH.....

It was great fun watching Brent compete in a race at
Candlestick Park, in San Francisco.....it was actually hot
out there today......

Here are four of our sons, Garrick, Brent, Kevin and Wil.

A day full of crabs....

I was waiting for this time of year for a whole year....going crabbing and knowing we would share all the crabs my Gordie caught with several of our children and grandchildren...It was a special day for me of sharing and enjoying everyone....we had crab cheviche (sp) crab cakes and crabc. We had enough for all 11 of us and everyone got to take some home....tonight for dinner we will have crab melts....my bff, Juanita brought a cheese cake to top off the night...boy was I happy when I woke up and saw I did not gain any weight....but Gordon and I took a two hour walk this morning just to make sure .
