Kinda!!! I still need to change the wallpaper to some really light colored sea theme paper. This vanity weighs about 250 or 300 pounds and is one piece. The floors are not done either. Some things
will have to wait.

all 50 or so stairs to the 3rd floor
bathroom.

Crap I am still painting!

My arms are in pain from all the
cleaning, preparing and finally painting walls and ceilings. I am not complaining or am I?

sale! New lights put in by Garrick and Gordon. Garrick has been a HUGE help to us.

That was a close call!

Gordon got the ceiling painted, the airbeds all fixed up some flowers all done on time.
That was a close call. Still working on the bedroom up stairs!!

Party plans are coming along nicely. I got lots of help from my niece, Dee Dee and her good friend Laura who is baking the wedding cake. Wow I am lucky for all the help. Plus my daughter is here also and she is helping too.

One daughter!!!!

Having SEVEN boys in our family, our only daughter, Chyrisa, has a special place in our life. She has some great qualities and has over come a lot in her life. She is a great inspiration to me. She always takes the high road, I think I could learn a thing or two from her.

SHE IS COMING TODAY WITH HER FAMILY FOR 10 DAYS. I am so excited.
(we are still working on her room-hope we can finish before they get here)

Margarite turned 90!

This is my dear friend Margarite. Her daughter who is also a very dear friend had a Hawaiian themed party for her. It was so nice and as you can see she is the queen. I tried to snatch the tiara before I left.

California Culinary Academy

Juanita and Gene took us out for dinner for our anniversary present. We had a ball. The food was really good and presentation was excellent. We started slowly at 6PM and ate and I do mean ate until 9PM. Then we went night clubbing. We closed that Blues club down to. One of my most memorable nights.

The 99 cent only store!

We were turned on to this store a few years ago by our friends the Paces. Ever
since then we keep our eyes open for them. I even went on the internet to find
the 99 cent only stores. YES, they have fresh veggies I usually buy a lot and
have stir frys until they are all used up.

What anniversary money?

Yes it did not take us long to spend the money our kids gave us for our
anniversary. But with Garrick's help Gordon got exactly what "we" wanted.
Then because it would have taken us forever, Garrick set it up for us. So again
a big thanks for a gift we will enjoy for along time. We will take it with us where ever we go.
