Dang I forgot the name of this Mexican treat.....I had it before in New Mexico, they are so good with local honey....
No wonder we did not want to leave....we were so spoiled......
We are Laura and Gordon Bornkamp. We have been retired for 22 years and full time traveling for 21years...we are still traveling for many months but by car and motels....a big change but we love our life and where we live in Pahrump, Nevada at the Escapees Park.

I believe these are called "sopapillas" . . . and we used to squeeze honey on them or actually "in" them . . . yummo!
