The blossoms are out in Santa Fe! Posted by Picasa

This suppose to be the oldest church in the US but we found out that there has been a dispute about this. St. Augustine say it has the oldest church. We will have to find out what the truth is sometime. Posted by Picasa

We enjoyed Santa Fe that we spent another day here at the capitol. Posted by Picasa

Diane took a picture of us in a cave that was on the trail we were hiking.  Posted by Picasa

This is our good friend Diane Shepard. We are in her driveway for a few days before continuing heading home to San Francisco. Diane lives a wonderful small town named Placitas. It was a beautiful day and Diane took us on a small hike and that is snow on the side of the road. Posted by Picasa

I do not want to have this ever happen again! Posted by Picasa

One of the scariest days in our 11 years of fulltiming. A few days ago we were traveling from Lakewood, New Mexico to Albuquerque when our left front tire blew out. It threw us into the next lane and thank God no one was there. If anyone was there they would have been pushed in the the gully dividing the highway. Gordon was so cool, calm and collected when he steered the motorhome to the right side of the road. It took him 300 yards to stop. We were going 58 miles an hour. It was an awful experience and I was very grateful to have Gordon driving. Posted by Picasa

We are getting ready to roll!

We are leaving here on Monday, March 13th and heading for Corpus Christie and Rockport area in Texas for a few days before heading to Abbyville in Louisiana. We have a reservation for the weekend before heading to Florida.

We had a wonderful visit here but are looking forward to more travelling, seeing friends/family and sight seeing.

Bye for now, Laura
