Gordon did a great job again!!!

This wet bar was so ugly and so cheaply made that no one ever noticed it BUT Gordon tore out the sink that was sitting on the ugly paneling you see on the top picture. He put new tile down and used a really nice wood to put on the sides of the bar. He went yesterday and bought a nice piece of glass and WALLA HERE YOU GO!!!!!

Home safe and sound!!!!

I arrived home on Wednesday.... I had a very rewarding time in Detroit.... It was perfect, fun and sad. Diana is doing better each day - I hated to go. I had to come home because there was stuff that needed to be done and Gordon needed some help....So here I am happy to have gone and happy to be back.

Checking out the what Del Webb has to offer!

We all loved one of the models in the Del Webb community, it was really nice and the people were great. I am not talking about the sales people but a few of the people who live there. They have the most gorgious club house and the lots of activies. A huge work out room with all the lastest equipment.

On the bottom picture is Michelle (Diane's daughter-in-law) and Diane and they are liking this model a lot. Me too!

JUST LOOKING!!!!

Chicago Area!

Three fun filled days in Chicago are over now. We are back home to Diana's house in Michigan. It took us over 8 hours to get there due to flood roads and detours. But getting home was only 5 hours and it went so fast Diana would not stop talking. (haha)

Oh yeah, we found the bead store not to impressive but we found a thing or two we could not live without....

Lots of traffic in Chicago!

Our 4 hour trip took about 8 when we learned the hard way that Gary, Indiana was flooded and we had to find another route. It is really hard when you are navigational challenged. But we are now in Chicago safe and sound.
