Larry and Debbie are here!

So happy Debbie and Larry were able to pay us a visit. Debbie has never been to San Francisco before so we are making plans for them to do some sight seeing tomorrow. Larry is the person who does all our solar work for us. He is very good, honest and dependable. They can only stay one night, I will try to talk them into two but they have work waiting for them when they return to Yuma, AZ.

A special fun filled day with my neices!

Diana (my sister, Lola daughter) and her two daughters Lauren and Tarra. They spent the night with us. What fun we had.

More CAKE!!!

Yes, I don't think you can see how
pretty this piece of cake is that Patrick brought over. It is on a bed of leaves with a flower on top of the chocolate cake and splirts of chocolate on the leaves. IT TASTED GREAT!

Maggie is going to be fixed soon!

Our insurance man called us today to let us know that the antenna (that broke when we hit a tree) and the radiator will be fixed and paid for by our insurance company. We have Progressive and it has a disappearing deductible. So if you have no accidents the deductible keeps going down. Our deductible was down to $375.00. It will go up to $1000 after this. But we are happy we have it. It paid for the expensive tow job too. Maggie is still for sale.

This could only happen to us!!!

This is Patrick, he is one of our wonderful neighbors.
Last night he came over with the apple pie he had
just made. Presentation is everything of course. Two pretty plates, a Dalia flower (from his garden) and a scoop of Dreyers vanilla ice cream and a candle. WE FEEL SO SPECIAL AND WE LOVE IT HERE.

San Francisco after it rained.

The sun just showed up after it rained. It was overcast where I was standing but the sun was shining on the city. I love it here.

The old - the new floor

Gordon was busy fixing the floor in
the 2nd floor bathroom. He used
extra left over kitchen flooring
and it looks real nice.

Juanita and Gene 10 years later.

What a night we had. We went to
see a blues singer who Juanita and
Gene like a lot. We have seen him
twice now and we had a great time.
We got home about 2:30 AM after dancing the night away.

Our new rug for our room!

This rug is an 8x12 rug in the exact
colors I wanted. Another garage
sale find.

I don't need anything else.

Maggie got hurt!

We were using the airbags that are
for leveling our rig and when it went
down it hit a small brick curb that
we thought we had cleared but we did
not and the radiator got hit. Fluid came running out. We think it is the
radiator but it has been towed to a
garage to get looked at. The tow job cost in the neighborhood of $800 and
it only went about 20 miles away. We are hoping our insurance will pay for
it all.
Needless to say we are NOT going
to the crabfest in Oregon.

Another steal!!!!

I bought this darling old drawers
at a garage sale. It fits in the 2nd
floor bedroom perfect.

I am up and running again.

Yes, I got my new 7.1 digital from Costco and I am very happy. It takes great pictures and the Kodak products are so easy to use. I got a 2 gig sd card and that means I can do lots of pictures and videos. So let me get started.

Does anyone know what we are doing?

Gordon and I have shown the motorhome to a very interested party today. She and will be coming back tomorrow with another person to see it. We are happy/sad. If we don't sale it we are going to think about plan B.

It looks like we will probably NOT be going to Winchester Bay for the crabbing this year. Again we may go if the motorhome does not sale. We are not to sure about anything and just trying to take one day at a time.

I did make a reservation to be with my daughter, Chyrisa on the one year anniversary of Mark's passing. It seems like time has no gone by when it comes to our broken hearts. I am so happy that I can go and be with her and their family. I will be leaving on October 24th and I must return by November 3rd for one of your best friends husband memorial. Life can be real tough sometimes.

Another Camera?????

Yes, it is true, my camera is broken. I will be getting my new one on Tuesday. I ordered it from Costco.
I feel naked without my camera. But I guess I can just wait.
I am getting very excited about going crabbing with our Roving Rods Club. We hope to be leaving on Tuesday after I get my camera. We should be gone about two weeks. I have some friends staying at our house while we are gone.

Now why can't we all get along?

In a zoo in California, a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately,
due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tiny
size, they died shortly after birth.
The mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to decline in health,
although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused
the tigress to fall into a depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate
another mother's cubs, perhaps she would improve.
After checking with many other zoos across the country, the depressing news was that there
were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother. The veterinarians
decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a mother
of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only orphans" that could be
found quickly, were a litter of weanling pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in
tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger. Would they become cubs or pork chops?
Take a look...you won't believe your eyes!!

BUSCUITS AND BLUES!!!

A really fun night, riding the muni to
Mason Street and enjoying an even-
ing of blues with good friends!

A real different view!

Every morning we have our
coffee out on our 2nd balcony
and each morning the view is
so different. Here an example.

Beautiful!

Our across the street neighbor Patrick gave
us these beautiful flowers from his garden.
I love them.

San Francisco Mime Troop in Dolores Park!

We met up with Bob and Gail again at Dolores Park in SF to watch this group of actors. It was very good and very political. But it was good. We had fun eating, watching and visiting with our friends.

Gail and Bob!

Our wonderful RV friends Gail and Bob took us out to a lovely Italian dinner for our anniversary. One of the best pasta I have ever had. Thank you guys it was great. They are here for about one week then flying back to their rig in NC.
