I am home!!!!

Gordon picked me up at 9PM and we headed for the motorhome. We spend the night there and Gordon went to his doctor appointment. the next morning He is doing good. The tests will be read on June 10th.

I had a really good visit with Chyrisa and Charlie but was happy to get home. The house looks so good and Gordon did a lot of yard work while I was gone. He tore off all that ugly brick on the fireplace wonder what we will do with it now.....

Got to visit with Mary and Elaine for a few hours today - that was wonderful.

I am happy to be back home, I missed being here.

Newspaper in Nampa

I am so proud of my daughter. Not everyone can do what she is doing.
Helping others through her pain.

I brought my beads with me

I will be raffling off four bracelets I made. I hope I make lots of money for the Crisis Center.

We have lots more but this is enough for now.

Tomorrow we have to pick up our last items. Pizza coupons, speedway tickets, Big Easy Night Club tickets and UPS store donations.

We are so proud at all the positive givers in Nampa/Boise area. We should have started months before but we did not know. So we will be much more prepared next year.

In honor of Mark and his 24th birthday.

A hot, hard day getting donations for upcoming memorial/fundraiser!

Today Chyrisa and I were up early and we hit the streets for donations for Mark's Memorial/Fundraiser coming up this weekend. We were surprised at all the donations we received. Tonight we must do a lot of stuff online to complete some of the donation requests. There was lots we could have done online but we are inexperienced at this. BUT we will be successful I can tell already.

I am enjoying my stay here and love doing this in my grandson's name. The proceeds will go to the Valley Crises center. Chyrisa wants to help the children.

Want to participate?

Hello everyone,
I don't know if you all know that I am here in Idaho for a couple of weeks with my daughter, Chyrisa. The reason I am here is to assist her in her efforts to remember her son Mark, who passed away in Oct. 2006. Mark's birthday is on May 23rd (he would have been 24 this year) and Chyrisa is having a memorial/fundraiser in Mark's name and for the Valley Crisis Center in Nampa, ID. Chyrisa has a fundraiser twice a year, on Mark's birthday and the day he passed away. It is always very sad but what better way is there to honor the one you love with this act of kindness which she passes on to others. SHE IS AWESOME!!!

You can participate if you would like to. Any donations can be made to Mark Ellis Memorial Fund in care of Chyrisa Quincy, 2818 S. Royal Meadows Drive, Nampa, Id 83686 or Valley Crises Center also in care of Chyrisa.

We are having three tables set up on the 23rd & 24th - we will be making gift baskets to raffle off, we will be selling root beer floats and I am donating some crystal bracelets for raffling. Chyrisa will be doing some caricatures drawings. We have contacted about 6 vendors from where Chyrisa 's work, (Albertson's) for donations and they all said yes anything they can do. So we are on the hunt for more donations. We would like this to be successful. Check out Valley Crisis Center on the web.

I hope all our family and friends that are mother have a wonderful day!

We spent the day with my niece Dee Dee, Joe and girls. We had a wonderful dinner and spent most of the day in the hot tub. A few games of the "whole enchilada" then to the motorhome.
On Saturday, my son Wil had a bbq, it was really good and tasty. We enjoyed ourselves and it was nice to see his apartment.

I am not home so I will do some pictures tomorrow or the next day.
