The towers are gone forever.....we were in NY the year before 9/11.
We are Laura and Gordon Bornkamp. We have been retired for 22 years and full time traveling for 21years...we are still traveling for many months but by car and motels....a big change but we love our life and where we live in Pahrump, Nevada at the Escapees Park.

Did you get to walk up into the crown of the Statue of Liberty? We last visited in December of 1990, didn't have time to visit Ellis Island, though. Next time...
