Did not know that he owned had 15 times more slaves than the other slave owners... most slave owners had 10...He was the person responsible for The Trail of Tears.....
Did not know all this before the tour....
We are Laura and Gordon Bornkamp. We have been retired for 22 years and full time traveling for 21years...we are still traveling for many months but by car and motels....a big change but we love our life and where we live in Pahrump, Nevada at the Escapees Park.
