Please don't read this until you have time to take it all in!

Lyrics from my daughter, Chyrisa. The pain of her son's death has brought out the artist part of her. We both don't understand how this happened BUT it did. She is not only drawing she made these lyrics that will be put to music next year by Hawthorne Heights the group her son Mark was going to see when he passed away in a car accident.

BLACK TWISTED METAL

Your life is flashing before my eyes

Stumbling, fumbling learning to walk

The perceptions of sound as you talk

Don’t grow up, I see ahead of you

The other side is luring you!

Dirt and metal, take time to settle

Do you hear the sound, feel the pound?

What do you see, glimpses of time gone by?

Can you feel my love, can you see my pain?

As black twisted metal leaves a stain!

Here you go as you learn to drive

Graduation as you learn to thrive

Birthdays come and then they go

Don’t grow up I see ahead of you

The other side is calling you!

Dirt and metal, take time to settle

Do you hear the sound, feel the pound?

What do you see, glimpses of time gone by?

Can you feel my love, can you see my pain?

As black twisted metal leaves a stain!

You are growing up it seems

Then you find the girl of your dreams

Forecasting the future, preparing your life

Don’t grow up I see ahead of you

The other side has taken you!

Dirt and metal, take time to settle

Do you hear the sound, feel the pound?

What do you see, glimpses of time gone by?

Can you feel my love, can you see my pain?

As black twisted metal leaves a stain!
